When developing the MAX case line, Protec's goal was simple: to offer high-quality, lightweight cases with excellent protection at value prices. They then equipped these cases with features often found in more expensive models. Combining Protec's skilled craftsmanship with this feature set, you will be hard-pressed to find a better case.

Responsibly made, all materials have been tested to be free of Lead, DEHP, PAHS8, DBP, and BBP. The tough exterior is constructed from rugged 600D nylon, with an EPS foam frame that is lightweight, rigid, and shock resistant for excellent protection. The main handle is made of durable rope with reinforced stitching, featuring a comfortable padded wrap with a hook and loop closure.

The shoulder straps include a large adjustable pad and strong, lightweight clips. Additionally, built-in backpack straps are padded for comfort and can be easily tucked away when not in use.

Featuring strong, high-quality, and custom-designed zippers, the cases also employ a QuickLock hook and loop closure, allowing you to securely shut an empty case without zipping. The large gusseted front pocket is perfect for storing smaller accessories. Internally, the cases are lined with durable, non-abrasive, and breathable velour. A single mouthpiece cup provides easy access, and is specifically designed to be scratch resistant and quiet.
